I tried it and it tastes horrible. Absolutely horrible. I don´t know how anybody could like this "taste". I even know Germans who loves it. So, I´m not sure if they are real Germans.
Last saturday I was on a street festival in Dachau, near Munich. And as I needed a restroom I found a Port-a-potty. And the chemical odour of these portable toilets smells intimately like root beer. NO JOKE!
